Business Development Rep - Vima Decor

Our sister company, Vima Dcor, is a wholesale supply company catering to multifamily and hospitality renovation and construction projects. We're looking to hire a Business Development Representative with a hungry, results driven attitude to help grow our South Austin / San Antonio region!

This position entails, but is not limited to:

• Generating and prospecting new leads through networking, relationship building, emails, marketing, referrals, etc.
• Maintaining a strong relationship with new and existing customers through active communication, inputting and processing orders, tracking shipments, collecting payments, sending balance statements, etc.
• Ensuring you log accurate and up to date information in our company CRM system, including emails and phone calls
• Updating customer records appropriately to report on key metrics and track sales pipeline
• Researching and attending industry networking events such as trade shows, business exchanges, and conferences
• Working closely with other members of the Vima sales team to identify missed opportunities and close gaps
• Partnering with marketing team to brainstorm and recommend new marketing materials and avenues
• Scheduling and attending on-site meetings with customers which often includes walking properties to measure for cabinets and granite

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of outside sales experience, ideally in a B2B environment
• Passion for sales and a strong drive to grow business
• Proven success closing the deal and exceeding sales goals
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks without direct supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new programs
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Close attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Ability to travel domestically up to 70% of the time

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience using Oracle NetSuite, 2020 Spaces, or Magento
• Have experience in the multifamily, hospitality, construction, or wholesale industry
