Job Summary:
Our San Diego, California facility is seeking a precise and organized Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. This critical role involves overseeing inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies to ensure optimal inventory management. You will be responsible for utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements, update records, and generate comprehensive reports on stock status and movements. Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a systematic approach to problem-solving are essential. The Inventory Control Specialist will also contribute to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment by ensuring proper stock rotation, clear aisle management, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE . Understanding the impact of accurate inventory on overall logistics efficiency is key. While the role is primarily focused on data and systems, occasional moderate Lifting may be required to access or verify stock. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory data within the WMS, ensuring accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze inventory control reports.
  • Implement and refine inventory management procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage, organization, and rotation of inventory.
  • Monitor inventory for damage, obsolescence, or expiry.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Promote and enforce warehouse safety standards.
  • Ensure consistent use of PPE .
  • Support effective logistics operations through accurate inventory data.
  • Assist with occasional Lifting and physical verification of inventory.
