Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and forklifts.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of all warehouse machinery.
- Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with automated warehouse systems and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with safe lifting techniques and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
