Senior Accountant

Our client is a Chartered Accountancy firm based in South Dublin. Our client is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team. The successful Senior Accountant will have a portfolio of clients and will manage junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assisting in the timely preparation of annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns, including quarterly and annual audits.
• Taking on ad-hoc business projects as directed by Finance Management.
• Monthly review of debtors/creditors.
• Cash flow and supplier payments.
• Review of overheads.
• Other daily accounting requests from the general manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year PQE. (Will also consider candidates near completion of qualification)
• Previous experience working in a Practice firm is essential.
• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA etc.)
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in a busy finance department.
• Strong technical knowledge.
