Classification: Full-time / Exempt

Summary / Job Objective:

Simplicity Group is a premier financial holding company at the forefront of the retirement and financial planning industry. We are seeking a Business Project Manager to join our PMO & Integration team.

This is not a technical IT role. We are looking for a strategic leader to drive Business Projects that directly impact our corporate growth, operational efficiency, and the successful integration of our partner subsidiaries. The primary objective is to lead complex, cross-functional business initiatives from inception to completion within the fast-paced financial services sector. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute and successfully complete complex projects and initiatives across multiple business units.
• Develop project plans to implement integration strategies.
• Develop roadmaps with defined milestones, scope and success metrics.
• Lead cross-functional planning sessions across workstreams.
• Serve as a bridge builder/ key liaison between various business units, partner subsidiaries and executive leadership.
• Drive organizational change and the change management process, including assessment of cultural fit, changing communications and training/ support to minimize organizational disruption.
• Assist team members to identify, assess and mitigate project risk.
• Assist team members to identify, assess and manage complexity and project dependencies.
• Provide clear, transparent and expediate status reports and communications; highlight key risks, decisions. needed, and benefit realization updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 3- 5 years minimum, proven experience as a Project Manager.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience in managing projects involving company integrations (e.g., system or organizational integrations) is highly desirable.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Experience with budget management and oversight

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation (based on experience)

• Annual Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 / Exempt
• Annual Performance Bonus Target: 10%
