The role of a Border Patrol Agent is multifaceted and critical to national security.

• In this position, you will be responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders by detecting and apprehending individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws;


• Preventing and intercepting aliens at or near the borders;


• Interpreting tracks, marks, physical evidence related to illegal entry of persons or contraband;
