I am a university student enrolled in COMP9020 – Foundations of Computer Science and I am looking for an experienced private tutor to help me understand the course material, especially proof writing and number theory.
The course topics are focuses on:
1. Number Theory
2. Set Theory
3. Formal Languages
4. Relations
5. Functions
6. Graph Theory
7. Recursion
8. Algorithmic Analysis
9. Induction
10. Boolean Logic
11. Propositional Logic
12. Combinatorics
13. Probability
14. Statistics
Has a strong background in Discrete Mathematics / Theoretical Computer Science
Has experience teaching or tutoring university-level foundations or discrete math
Can explain concepts clearly and patiently
Is comfortable guiding me through problems rather than just giving answers
Sessions will be conducted online call via zoom or Teams,, and I expect to meet 3–4 times per week depending on workload.
If you have experience with courses similar to COMP9020, Discrete Mathematics, or Mathematical Proofs, I would love to work with you.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Computer Science, Python, Computer Engineering, Foundation of computer science
