Border Patrol Agent Job Description


The primary objective of this role is to patrol international boundaries, detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.


  • Detecting suspicious activity at or near borders

  • Preventing undocumented noncitizens from crossing into the country

  • Capturing and apprehending suspects using government resources such as vehicles


p>This position requires a minimum of one year's work experience in a related field or completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement for GL-5 positions.
