We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology, coupled with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient service and utilizing various massage techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
* Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
* Develop personalized treatment plans that address specific pain management or occupational health concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes using appropriate medical terminology.
* Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all clients.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in massage therapy to enhance service offerings.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy.
* Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies.
* Knowledge of trigger point therapy and its application in treatment plans.
* Experience in occupational health settings is a plus, along with proficiency in medical terminology.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction.
*Compensation*
* This is a commission based position. Massage therapist will be paid on a 45/55 split with 45% to the therapist and 55% to the employer.
