The United States Customs and Border Protection is seeking candidates who possess excellent communication skills and can demonstrate a high level of professionalism in their work. This position involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. It also requires facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry into the country.Candidates must be able to conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to ensure compliance with applicable laws. They will also be responsible for determining the admissibility of individuals entering the United States.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing physical inspections of documents or goods; utilizing observational techniques to evaluate facts; reviewing documentation while applying federal laws ; making determinations that may lead to arrests or penalties based on findings;
