At the Department of Homeland Security, we are committed to protecting American interests and securing our nation. As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our borders against illicit activity.


Job Description

  • To enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
  • To facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry into the United States.

The CBPO position is a career ladder opportunity with grade level progression from GS-5 to GS-12. You will be eligible for promotion once you complete 52 weeks in each grade level at your own discretion based on performance reviews.
