Border Patrol Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly trained professionals dedicated to safeguarding the nation's borders. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in enforcing immigration and customs laws, while also serving as a representative of the federal government.

The typical assignments for this position include:

• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders
• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
• Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
