Assist in the creation and maintenance of network rack patch matrices, document cable paths, labeling standards, and port assignments, and manage spreadsheets for rack labels with precision. Cabling and Build Standards:
Ensure all cabling work meets installation and quality standards. Foster consistent build practices across data center projects and provide thorough documentation to operations teams. Project Coordination:
Work collaboratively with project managers to clarify the scope and required materials, review bills of materials for completeness, coordinate with vendors on expectations and timelines, and track project milestones. Vendor and Onsite Management:
Support onsite vendor activities for infrastructure builds, participate in pre-deployment meetings, validate work completion through inspections, and resolve any onsite technical issues as they arise. Workflow and Tools Management:
Oversee deployment tasks in project tracking systems and monitor the Ticket System for effective management and configuration. Deployment and Troubleshooting:
Assist in network and software setups during site activations and support the troubleshooting of cabling and connectivity issues. Multi-Project Management:
Coordinate deployments for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring efficient task prioritization and resource allocation. Travel:
Be prepared for up to 50% travel across North America, which may include Latin America. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in data center infrastructure deployment. Preferred network certifications. Proficient understanding of network rack installation, cabling standards, and data center build processes. Experience with documentation and workflow management tools. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and vendor coordination capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Compensation and Benefits Compensation ranges from $87,000 to $178,100 annually, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
