Build SEO-Optimized WordPress Website for International Education Consulting Business (Content Provided)
Job Description
We are rebuilding the website for the business an international education consulting company serving primarily Chinese international students in the United States.
The old website is no longer active. We have archived content that will be reused and upgraded. Our previous website is archived on Wayback Machine ).
We will provide:
• Selected archived URLs
• Raw content exports
• Direction on which content to reuse or upgrade
The developer is expected to:
• Help structure and modernize the content
• Improve SEO formatting
• Avoid direct copy-paste duplication issues
• Optimize for 2026 search intent and U.S. ranking
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer with strong technical SEO knowledge to:
• Build a clean, fast, modern WordPress website
• Implement strong SEO structure for U.S. Google ranking
• Optimize speed and mobile performance
• Structure content for authority positioning
• Implement schema markup (FAQ, Organization, Article)
• Set up Google Analytics + Search Console
• Ensure security, backups, and performance optimization
This is NOT a simple template install project.
We want a strategically structured website designed to rank in the U.S. education consulting niche.
Scope of Work
Phase 1 – Technical Setup
• WordPress installation
• Lightweight theme (Astra, Kadence, or similar)
• Clean UI design (professional, premium, not flashy)
• Speed optimization (90+ PageSpeed target)
• RankMath or Yoast SEO setup
• XML sitemap + proper indexing structure
• Basic on-page SEO formatting
Phase 2 – Page Structure Implementation
We will provide content. You will:
• Create structured page layout
• Format headings properly (H1/H2/H3 hierarchy)
• Optimize meta titles and descriptions
• Add internal linking structure
• Implement FAQ schema
• Ensure proper URL structure
Estimated pages:
• Homepage
• About
• service pages
• Blog structure
• Contact page
• Legal/Disclaimer page
Future expansion planned.
Required Skills
• Strong WordPress development experience
• Proven technical SEO experience
• Experience building authority-style service websites
• Knowledge of schema markup
• Understanding of Google ranking structure
• Fluent English communication
Bonus if you have experience with:
• Education or consulting industry websites
• Bilingual site structure (English + Chinese)
• International SEO

• Basic template designers
• Agencies that outsource overseas without supervision
• Developers without SEO understanding
