The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking highly skilled professionals to fill the role of Border Patrol Agent - Experienced (GL9 / GS11) . This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, protecting the nation's borders and enforcing laws related to immigration and customs.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents, and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.


• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry.


• Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols,and transportation checks.
