Border Security Specialist

This role requires professionals to safeguard the nation's borders, promote economic prosperity, and protect American citizens.

  • Maintaining adherence to customs, immigration, and agriculture regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of individuals and conveyances.
The primary responsibilities involve enforcing laws (detention of suspected violators) , promoting international commerce("trade facilitation") , conducting meticulous assessments.
Prospective candidates must undergo 52 weeks at each grade level before advancing to GS-5,G S -7 ,GS-9 ,G S-11 or G.S.-12 levels.
