This position involves a range of law enforcement activities including border patrol, questioning and detection. As part of this role you will be working closely with other agencies to maintain security at international borders.
About the Position:
- Detection and apprehension of individuals suspected of violating customs laws
- Prevention and control measures for undocumented migrants at or near the borders
As an agent in this profession, promotions are available once specific grade levels have been achieved through successful performance.
Language Requirement: A strong grasp of Spanish is essential for communication with diverse populations encountered during assignments
Career Development Opportunities: This career ladder has progression up to GS-12 level offering growth potential within Federal Law Enforcement offices
