A Customs and Border Protection Officer is a law enforcement professional responsible for enforcing laws and regulations related to importing, exporting, and international shipping.

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel.

• Conduct inspections of individuals, cargo/bags/merchandise at ports of entry or airports;


• Determine admissibility for entry into the United States;


• Prevent illegal entries or smuggling activities;
