We are now recruiting a Welder/Ironworker , who will support the team based at our office in Wabush (Labrador) .

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience within an industrial setting is required
  
• Welding certification or Fabrication certification is required, indentured apprentices' will be considered;
  
• Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding, stick welding, flux core welding, plasma cutting, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals;
  
• Millwright and equipment guarding experience would be a huge asset;
  
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (Mainly SMAW, & FCAW);
  
• Experience doing field layout and developing plans for fabrication;
  
• Experience doing sketches for field fabrication work;
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings;
  
• Mechanical aptitude, experience or certification in other trades an asset;
  
• Self motivated, organized and able to work independently;
  
• Able to work in a team environment and utilize all available resources;
  
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written;
  
• Desire to succeed and grow within the organization;
  
• Previous supervisory experience will be considered an asset;
