CDL Tow Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and assisting customers in need of roadside assistance. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle various towing situations with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wheel-lift models, to transport vehicles safely.
• Perform vehicle load and unload procedures while ensuring minimal risk of damage.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics to troubleshoot issues with vehicles as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients during roadside emergencies.
• Manage conflicts effectively and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding job status, vehicle conditions, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Experience

• Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, preferably with a tow truck or similar equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for performing basic repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle customer interactions professionally.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients in distress.
• Previous experience in automotive diagnostics is beneficial but not mandatory.
