Morning Host

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing guest relations and coordinating seating arrangements in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed.
• Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
• Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests informed during busy periods.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the menu and services.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and waiting areas.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for reservations and tracking guest preferences when applicable.

Skills

• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar systems is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Previous experience in hotel or food service environments is advantageous.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices to enhance the guest experience.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally.
