Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts.
• Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that supports children's physical and emotional well-being.
• Supervise children during activities, playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor excursions to ensure safety at all times.
• Engage children in educational activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and cognitive development.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental progress, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education and special education needs.
• Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities to ensure inclusive participation and development.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior through nurturing guidance techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a lively and motivating environment.
• Experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children including toddler care and infant care responsibilities. Pay: $ $14.00 per hour
