Job Summary
Join our dynamic automotive team as a passionate and energetic Automotive Service Advisor In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every driver. You will expertly communicate vehicle needs, recommend necessary repairs, and coordinate with technicians to deliver top-tier automotive service. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages trust and confidence.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues to facilitate efficient repairs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including auto diagnostics, oil changes, brake repair, transmission work, tire service, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repair.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance packages by clearly communicating benefits that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Prepare accurate auto estimates and service writing documentation while managing customer inquiries about vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as mechanical diagnostics or complex automotive repairs.
- Handle cash transactions securely while maintaining precise records of all service sales and parts used.
- Promote automotive sales by identifying opportunities for new or pre-owned vehicle purchases aligned with customer needs.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, or service technician roles.
- Familiarity with a wide range of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs.
- Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing processes to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective sales techniques such as upselling and automobile sales strategies.
- Experience handling cash transactions with integrity and professionalism is essential.
- Knowledge of dealership operations including auto repair workflows and parts inventory management is advantageous.
