Pet Food Maker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pet Food Maker to join our team in preparing high-quality, nutritious pet food products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and animal health, with experience in food handling and food safety standards. Duties

• Prepare pet food ingredients according to established recipes and safety guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment and tools efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Measure ingredients accurately using basic math skills and proper food handling techniques
• Follow all food safety protocols, including sanitation, proper storage, and cross-contamination prevention
• Assist with packaging and labeling finished products for distribution
• Maintain a clean work area, adhering to sanitation regulations and company policies
• Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen work, or food service is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not required
• Experience working in quick service or fast-food environments, including cashiering and customer service roles, is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and basic kitchen operations is desirable
• Background in retail math, grocery store operations, or restaurant experience will be beneficial for understanding inventory and sales processes
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Prior experience with food handling, serving, bussing, or cashiering roles demonstrates readiness for this position
