We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Order Pickers for our Salt Lake City, Utah facility. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and efficiency are key to our logistics success, directly impacting customer satisfaction. This role demands a focus on accuracy, speed, and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order tickets or scanning devices.
- Verify product identification and quantities for each order.
- Place picked items into appropriate bins, boxes, or onto carts for transport to the packing station.
- Assist in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Must be comfortable with regular Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret picking instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- A proactive approach to workplace safety .
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
