Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic growth.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from toddlers to preschool age.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote cooperation and social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when needed.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and childcare staff to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Integrate special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs and promote an inclusive classroom setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs.
- Experience with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and Montessori or similar educational philosophies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring methods, and teaching physical education activities.
