Mechanic / Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role involves performing complex repairs, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. The successful candidate will possess excellent mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics
• Perform engine repairs, including diesel engine repair and powertrain servicing
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and alignments
• Repair and replace automotive electrical systems, sensors, and ADAS components
• Use specialized tools for wheel alignment, suspension work, and other mechanical adjustments
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately troubleshoot problems
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair
• Dealership experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, and schematics
• Familiarity with diesel engines and powertrain systems
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive service, or related fields is advantageous
