PURPOSE OF JOB:

Kretek International, Inc. has 02 locations in Moorpark area and has an immediate job opening position as a Mechanic. We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining and repairing all vehicles.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct regular maintenance on systems and automotive vehicles.

· Complete preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, and replacing filters.

· Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.

· Knowledge of automotive mechanics and diagnostics, automotive electrical systems, forklift mechanics.

· Knowledge of mounting and balancing automotive tires.

· Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.

· Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.

· Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.

· Other tasks might be assigned to support the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

· High School preferred or relevant work experience

License

· Valid Driver's License and able to provide DMV record. Any vehicle certifications are a plus (steering, brakes, etc)

Experience

· A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role within a Company Business is a plus

The following skills are preferred:

· In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.

· Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.

· Knowledge of OSHA and regulatory safety helpful.

· Strong desire for learning and building a solid career foundation

· The ability to install and uninstall tires, as well as balance tires, utilizing tire changing and balancing equipment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk.

Ability to reach above, at, or below waist height

Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, turn and twist

Ability to lift 25lb regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Ability to manipulate large and small tools.

Ability to work outside in temperatures from 30 degrees F. to 110 degrees F.

Safety:

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Supervisory Responsibility:

The position currently has no people supervisory responsibility
