Job Details Job Location: Norwell, MA - Norwell, MA 02061 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $ $20.00 HourlyRTR is offering a $2,500 Sign on Bonus for New Full Time Hires 
Provides direct support and evaluations of adults with developmental disabilities in a day habilitation setting.  Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the coordination of therapeutic services.  This position has limited case management responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Accurately record all data for established goals, object and behavior plans of members in assigned group.
  • Write progress notes for assigned members.  Assist with all development of behavioral plans or other intervention strategies.  Chart data collected from programs.
  • Ensure member training programs are implemented according to their DHSP
  • Establish oneself as the group coach/leader, assisting new staff in learning specific individual and/or group tasks and activities.
  • Attend mandated Safety Care training.  Responsible for implementing physical restraints on the individuals we support to assist with behavioral management.  This may include, but not limited to, hitting, biting, kicking, and spitting.
  • Develop curriculum, activities and modules to enhance the quality of services provided to members.
  • Prepare reports in accordance with state and agency requirements.
  • Work in cooperation with Paraprofessionals to develop member skills in the areas of:  selfcare, self-preservation, expressive communication, self-direction, and activities of daily living.
  • Serve as a liaison between RTR and the community representing a positive and proactive attitude at all times. 
  • Cooperate and interact with co-workers, clients, volunteers, and funders in a collaborative, courteous, empathic, and professional manner. Demonstrate willingness and ability to be part of team effort.
  • Serve as an appropriate role model for individuals under supervision establishing behavioral limits in a positive consistent manner and in accordance with behavioral plans.
  • Promptly inform Case Manager when a member is not working toward established goals.
  • Attend and participate in all meetings concerning assigned individuals.
  • Adhere to all program routines and schedules.
  • Provide transportation to activities as needed.
