Construction Superintendent/Field Manager – High-End Residential

Clarity Building Group is hiring a Construction Superintendent/Field Manager to lead the daily execution of high-end residential renovations. Direct experience with renovating 100 year old homes is preferred. This is a great opportunity for someone who's been in the trades, worked their way up, and knows what it takes to manage a site without drama or disorganization.

We're looking for a skilled leader with at least 5 years of construction experience. including at least 1 year supervising subcontractors, who can bring order, communication, and pride to the job site.

While many candidates bring backgrounds in multifamily or commercial construction, that experience does not provide an advantage for this role. Our work centers on complex, custom single-family residential projects. Candidates with residential experience are preferred.

What You'll Be Doing: Daily Site Leadership

• Open and secure the site, manage daily safety and cleanliness
• Walk the job, set up subcontractors for success and monitor progress
• Coordinate subs and vendors, track work completed vs. scheduled
• Snap daily progress photos, and document field activities

Hands-On Coordination

• Spend time with clients and keep lines of communication open
• Place orders, confirm material deliveries and site logistics

Weekly + Monthly Oversight

• Drive the 2–3 week lookahead with subs
• Identify scheduling issues and flag missing scope early
• Approve subcontractor invoices and field receipts
• Participate in inspections, milestone walks, and punchlist reviews
• Join monthly team meetings and contribute to long-term planning

What Sets You Apart

• 5+ years of hands-on construction experience
• 1+ year in a supervisory or foreman role
• Comfortable running a job site from open to close
• Familiar with subcontractor coordination, material logistics, and jobsite safety
• Strong communicator—both with trades and with clients
• Tech-savvy enough to use various software apps on a daily basis
• Organized, responsible, and genuinely takes pride in getting the job done right
