Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Production Manager
to lead and oversee production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence across production, quality, safety, equipment management, and cost control while ensuring stable, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management
- Lead and manage production, quality, technology, equipment, and safety operations to achieve production targets with high efficiency and quality.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved plans, maintaining balanced workflows and achieving on-time delivery targets.
- Coordinate personnel, materials, equipment, and other production resources to ensure stable and efficient workshop operations.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Lead production safety initiatives, including 5S management and behavior-based safety inspections.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and positive workplace culture.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve ISO9001, ISO22716, and standardization management systems.
- Organize and lead safety, quality, and technical review meetings; analyze quality data and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Equipment & Process Management
- Oversee equipment maintenance and utilization, working closely with the equipment department to improve efficiency and uptime.
- Participate in process optimization, process change management, and new product trial production.
Data, Cost & Performance Control
- Organize production data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making.
- Implement cost control initiatives, improve raw material utilization, and continuously reduce production costs while improving capacity and quality.
- Establish and enforce production rules, procedures, and performance evaluation systems to ensure standardized management.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with other departments to support production changes, logistics flow, quality improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Chair and participate in production meetings (scheduling, shift meetings, analysis meetings) and report key issues with proposed solutions to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in
Chemistry or a related field
(MBA or advanced degree is a plus). - Minimum
5 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
, including
at least 5 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role
. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production control, on-site management, and process optimization.
- Experience with production cost control, quality management, and continuous improvement systems.
- Familiarity with
ISO9001 and ISO22716
quality management systems. - Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and planning skills.
