K-12 Tutor- Hoover

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students of all ages achieve their academic goals. Whether it's providing one-on-one instruction or leading group sessions, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning journeys.

Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in math and/or reading.
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Utilize learning technologies and resources to enhance the tutoring experience
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and motivation
- Monitor and track students' academic performance and provide feedback on areas of improvement

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience working with students of all ages, from preschool to adult education
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Familiarity with learning technologies and online tutoring platforms
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed
