Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs and enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and demonstrate product features through engaging demos
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
• Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to increase sales
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and appealing
• Manage stock levels by assisting with inventory counts, stocking shelves, and processing deliveries
• Follow proper phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions and inventory management
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
