Project Description: Provide analytical and administrative support to Capital Projects in the Systems BU.
Professional Technical Title: Staff Analyst I
Duration of Service Required: 1040 hours
Normal Work Week: Monday - Friday
No. of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours (NYCT does not pay for lunch hours)
Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Administrative 100%; Office 100%; No Right of Access Required
NYCT Midpoint Annual Salary for This Title: $69,000

Qualifications Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree from accredited college in an engineering, architecture discipline or closely related field plus 2 years of full-time experience
OR
A master's degree in one of the areas indicated above and 1 year of full-time experience.
Experience Requirements:
- One year of full-time professional experience preferred, but not required in one or a combination of the following areas:
a. Working with executive-level managers researching and organizing data.
b. Tracking and presenting on complex data, such as management analysis; finance/budget information.
Licensing Requirements: N/A
Special Skills/Training Requirements:
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, Share Point, Forms, Power BI, etc.
Ability to prioritize workload according to volume and urgency.
Written, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to organize, write, communicate program/project information and reports.
Ability to set and meet project deadlines.
Ability to be proactive, flexible and responsive.
Description of Work:
Enhanced operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making through comprehensive data collection and analytics.
Design and maintain real-time dashboard and key performance indicators to monitor business performance.
Identify process bottlenecks, forecast demand trends, and enable proactive, data-driven decision making.
Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards.
Analyze large datasets using Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
Retrieve, format and merge electronic data from various media and sources for analysis and reporting.
Create charts, graphs, or tables for presentations, reports, and interoffice communications.
Maintain and update existing files to ensure data accessibility.
