*Responsibilities*
* Evaluate and assess pediatric patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
* Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' engagement in childhood occupations.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Educate families on treatment goals and progress, ensuring effective communication throughout the process.
* Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems and adhere to safety and CPR protocols.
* Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Necessary Qualifications:*
* Completion of Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
* Active license to practice as an OT in the state of Virginia (or eligible to obtain).
* Strong communication and client advocacy skills.
* Experience with electronic medical records.
* Proof of current CPR and Basic Life Support certification (or willing to obtain).
