Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they step into the hotel.
- Recognize IHG One Rewards member status and offer Welcome Amenity options as needed.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and a friendly attitude, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Assist with reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing details, and other relevant information while adhering to hotel policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly and effectively.
- Support night audit procedures when required, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations preferred; hotel experience is highly valued.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist guests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems, such as HotelKey or Hilton's PEP systems, and multi-line phone systems is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor and proper phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in guest relations or resort settings is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
