Diesel Mechanic

Overview
This position will perform diesel mechanic work to include routine maintenance and repair to company vehicles and equipment. This position will ensure compliance with company operations policies as well as company established safety and health standards.

Duties

· Oil Changes

· Brake Replacements

· Heavy Truck suspension

· Tire Repairs/Replacements

· Maintenance / repair heavy truck, Agricultural equipment repair and maintenance

· Mobile Repair to Various company locations with company provide service truck

· Performs routine maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment.

· Will keep the shop clean and organized

· Maintain excellent customer service with both external and internal customers

· Operate with highest level of safety and adherence to company policy

· Assist in other areas of CFC as needed

· Extended hours expected in season (includes nights and weekends)

· Effectively communicate with manager and co-workers

· Correctly complete all necessary paperwork

· Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Prefer minimum of 2 years' experience as a heavy machinery mechanic
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Ability to work at elevated levels
• Ability to work in dusty and sometimes loud environments
• Ability to think quickly and follow directions
• Possess strong attention to safety
• Able to legally work in the United States
• Must have attention to detail
• Carry a valid Driver's License
• Class A CDL
• Knowledge of DOT inspections and compliance
• Possess High School Diploma or comparable GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
