Banquet Houseman/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Banquet Houseman/Server to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering outstanding service during events by preparing banquet spaces, assisting with food service, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create seamless and enjoyable events for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware
• Assist with food handling, serving, and replenishing food and beverages during events
• Clear tables promptly and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness throughout the event
• Support catering staff with food preparation and delivery as needed
• Bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in banquet areas before, during, and after events
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously

Skills

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety, and food handling procedures
• Excellent guest relations and customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Experience in banquet service, catering, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Good physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and bending during shifts
• Knowledge of hotel or conference center operations is a plus

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
