Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) – Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

I'm looking to continue building out the best FP&A team in town and I need talented individuals that are analytical, that are builders, that have great communication skills and executive presence as you will get to present to the ELT (Executive leadership team) frequently and not just sit back in the shadows going unnoticed.
This is a great role for someone looking to make an impact and leverage their finance and accounting skills.
You will literally get your hands into every area of finance and get to learn operations inside and out which will help you grow tremendously, increase your marketability and career trajectory and be financially rewarded along the way. Most finance roles are siloed, whereas this one is incredibly robust.
This would be an excellent role for someone currently in FP&A whether that's corporate FP&A, commercial/sales finance, operations finance or pricing that wants exposure to other areas of finance OR that's looking to exit public accounting or advisory / consulting into a corporate setting and get into the FP&A / finance world.
Must currently reside in Greater Minneapolis, MN metro as this is a hybrid role meaning, there's a mix of in office and work from home each week. This position is not eligible for sponsorship so US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
At a high level:
you'll get to work on a wide variety of things including:
- Business partnering finance (front of the house forward facing finance)
- Corporate FP&A (P&L, BS, CF)
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Financial Consolidations
- Financial modeling (3 statement)
- Month end close and related financial reporting of monthly results to executive leadership
- Trending / variance analysis / scenario modeling / what if analysis
- Strategic planning
- Operational finance
- CapEx, Opex
- Financial and operational KPIs and analytics such as: sales (pricing/volume mix analysis), profitability (revenue/gross margin/expense) at the product, market and department level
- SG&A analysis
- Cost analysis
- ROI Analysis, business case study analysis for decision making
- P&L Management
- M&A
- Accrual allocation
- Providing financial summaries & commentary for management / MD&A
- Commercial / sales finance
- Market Analysis / GTM strategies
- New Product development
- Pricing
- Tons of Ad Hoc special projects
- Data Analytics / Data driven decision making
- Building Dashboards and using Data Visualization tools
- Leverage AI tools to automate and streamline workflows
Location: Greater Minneapolis Area metro.
Background Profile:
- 3-7 years of Finance / Corporate FP&A, operational or commercial finance / accounting, cost accounting, corporate accounting OR public accounting (Tax, Audit, Consulting, Advisory)
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with financial statements and analysis
- Advanced degrees/certifications strongly preferred (CPA, CFA, CMA, CGMA, Financial Modeling / FMVA, MBA, MAcc/MSA)
- BA degree in Finance or Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Seeking someone that has a high degree of intellectual curiosity in trying to understand how and why things work
- True team player, laid back, easy to work with
