Market Analyst Intern (Summer 2026)

The Market Analysis team provides analytical support to many departments within Valero including Crude & Feedstocks Supply and Trading, Products Supply and Trading, Wholesale Marketing and International Commercial Operations, Alternative Energy and Project Development, Investor Relations, Strategic Planning and Public Policy, and Planning and Economics.

Major Accountabilities: 

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business or related field required.  
• Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred.
• Graduation date after August 2026 required. 
• Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer required.
• Able and willing to work onsite at the San Antonio headquarters throughout the summer internship required.
