Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks to deliver goods across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of items
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel consumption
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and load/unload records for accountability
• Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory checks, moving stock, and organizing shipments when required

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety procedures
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting or moving cargo
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred
• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
