Automotive Service Advisor

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role requires a blend of strong customer service skills, automotive knowledge, and effective communication abilities to facilitate service appointments and address customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
• Must maintain CSI above National and Zone
• Provide detailed explanations of services offered, including repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics.
• Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle history in the service writing system.
• Collaborate with technicians to develop repair estimates and communicate findings to customers.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
• Follow up with customers regarding service updates, completion times, and any additional recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience.
• Stay informed about new automotive technologies and dealership promotions to better assist customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive dealership or repair environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, diagnostics, and estimating.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Previous experience in service writing or automotive sales is a plus.
• A background as a mechanic or in automotive diagnostics is highly desirable.
