K-7 Tutor near UBC

We are seeking someone who is available Saturday mornings on a weekly basis starting in January. Must have experience working with elementary aged children. This position is in person and requires travel to client homes.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Assist students with understanding subject material, homework, and test preparation.
• Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning outcomes.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Encourage active participation and foster a supportive atmosphere for learners of all ages.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student performance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and challenges.
• Stay updated on curriculum changes and best practices in tutoring methods.
