We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy of our inventory records, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and contributing to overall supply chain success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and other departments to ensure seamless inventory flow. Our company values safety above all else, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. You will be expected to assist with physical inventory counts, which may involve significant Lifting and standing for extended periods. A background in warehouse management systems and experience with data analysis tools is highly desirable.
