Teacher Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting their development and well-being. This role is essential in assisting with classroom management, providing individualized support, and enhancing the educational experience for all students.

Duties

• Assist the in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Support students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations.
• Engage with children during activities, promoting social interaction and learning.
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher.
• Facilitate small group instruction and provide one-on-one support as needed.
• Assist with daily routines, including snack time, transitions, and clean-up.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Skills

• First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all students.
• Experience in special education for montessori style learning
• Preschool experience or knowledge of early childhood development practices is essential.
• Strong background in childcare, including daycare, toddler care, infant care, or nannying.
• Classroom experience that demonstrates effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage in behavior management strategies to support positive student interactions.
• Experience working with students in various settings, showcasing adaptability and patience.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about education and eager to contribute positively to the development of young learners.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: From $19.00 per hour
