Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
Residence Inn Traverse City is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help ensure a welcoming and satisfying breakfast experience for our guests each morning. This role focuses on preparing breakfast items, keeping the breakfast area clean and well-stocked, and providing friendly, attentive service. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but a positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service are most important.

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• *Cross training in other areas for additional hours may be available for qualified candidates

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present complimentary breakfast items in an appealing, appetizing manner.
• Monitor and maintain the availability and freshness of all breakfast offerings throughout service.
• Keep the breakfast area clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
• Greet guests warmly and assist them with any breakfast needs.
• Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines at all times.
• Set up and break down the breakfast area and equipment before and after each shift.
• Keep inventory of breakfast supplies and notify management of any needs.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or hospitality is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable and punctual, with early morning availability.
• Good communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time
