Welder/Fabricator

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig welding and truck upfits including electrical components, hydraulic components and body installation
• Fabricate components according to specifications
• Operate machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for shaping and cutting materials.
• Conduct machining operations as required for project completion.
• Utilize forklifts safely for material handling within the workshop.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Familiarity with operating press brake machines, plasma cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during fabrication processes.
