This is a founding role for a pharmacist who wants to build systems, lead teams, and grow with a company designed for long-term scale.

Position Summary

The Pharmacist-in-Charge will serve as the primary regulatory, clinical, and operational leader of the pharmacy. This individual will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations while building scalable workflows, SOPs, and quality systems.

This role requires a hands-on leader comfortable operating in a startup environment and collaborating directly with ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge in accordance with Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Oversee all daily pharmacy operations, including sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Ensure compliance with USP , , , and applicable FDA and state regulations
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive SOPs, policies, and training programs
• Prepare for, manage, and lead regulatory inspections and audits
• Oversee quality assurance, documentation, and environmental monitoring programs
• Supervise, train, and evaluate pharmacists, technicians, and compounding personnel
• Maintain inventory control, purchasing oversight, and controlled substance compliance
• Ensure accurate prescription processing, labeling, and recordkeeping
• Collaborate with ownership on operational strategy, capacity planning, and growth initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
• Eligible and willing to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge
• Minimum 2–5 years of pharmacy experience (compounding experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and USP standards
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
• Ability to thrive in a startup or fast-growing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Sterile compounding experience
• Experience preparing for or managing Board of Pharmacy inspections
• Prior PIC or supervisory experience
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and quality systems

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, onsite position
• Standard business hours with operational oversight responsibilities
• Cleanroom and compounding lab environment
