We're expanding to the West Coast of Florida and seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney who's ready to help us lead this exciting new chapter. This is a great opportunity to help establish a new office space and grow alongside a supportive, values-driven team.

The role will begin remote or hybrid (near our current offices), with a planned transition to an in-person leadership role on Florida's west coast in 2026.

Ideal Candidate

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida (or eligible for reciprocity).
  • 2+ years of estate planning or elder law experience preferred.
  • Excellent communicator who listens deeply and explains clearly.
  • Self-starter eager to take initiative and help lead local growth.
  • Values teamwork, accountability, and service to community.

Compensation: $80K–$90K base + bonuses based on performance

Benefits: 401(k) with match after 1 year, monthly health care stipend (currently, we do not offer health benefits, but we have plans on bringing this in midyear of 2026), and continuing education support.

Compensation:

$80,000 - $90,000 yearly + performance bonuses

Responsibilities:
Conduct 1:1 estate planning consultations that educate and convert prospects into clients (target

  • 80% conversion rate)
  • Draft and review Wills, Trusts, POAs, Health Care Directives, and related documents
  • Explain complex concepts in plain language and guide clients toward confident decisions
    Present at community workshops and networking events throughout Volusia County (target- 50% conversion rate)
  • Document client interactions with detailed notes in the CRM and communicate all updates with our team
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure organized, high-quality execution
  • Gradually expand into Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Special Needs Trusts, Probate, and related areas

Qualifications:

Required

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active Florida Bar license
  • Excellent communicator with a teacher's mindsetand empathetic approach
  • Growth-oriented and eager to learn Elder Law and Special Needs Planning
  • Take initiative in learning and developing firm processes and client systems, especially in new areas of expansion (Probate, Trust Admin, Guardianship)
  • Confident in presenting at workshops with proven high conversions and networking
  • Tech-savvy: proficient in Google Workspace, CRMs, document automation tools, Zoom, and legal tech platforms
  • Strong accountability, initiative, and follow-through skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Elder Law, Medicaid, or Special Needs Trusts
  • Proficiency in WealthCounsel and ElderDocx
  • Experience in Estate Planning, Elder Law, SNT, Trust Administration, Probate, or Guardianship
