Host/Hostess

Busy waterfront restaurant looking for experienced, energetic, dependable hosts and hostesses.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists
• Communicate accurate wait times and seating expectations
• Seat guests and distribute menus
• Balance server sections to maintain smooth service
• Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
• Keep host stand and entrance area organized and clean
• Support servers and managers as needed during busy shifts

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Warm, friendly, and professional presence
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic computer skills, experience using POS
• Prior host/hostess or customer service experience is required

Schedule:

• Nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Flexible scheduling available
